CALL FOR PAPERS

9TH   EDITION OF THE AFRICAN JOURNAL OF INTERNATIONAL ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL LAW 2024.

  1. The African Journal of International Energy and Environmental Law is the collaborative work of the Faculties of Law of two leading Universities in Southern Nigeria (University of Port Harcourt and Rivers State University); driving informative research in Energy, Environmental Law, Maritime, Oil and Gas, Human Rights Laws and Sustainable Development within and beyond the African continent. The focus is international and comparative.
  2. The Editorial Board welcomes well researched papers in the following area of law; Environmental Law, Maritime Law, Energy Law, Oil and Gas and Human Rights Law.
  3. The Journal adopts the Oxford University Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities
    (OSCOLA) or the National Association of Law Teachers Referencing Style (NALT). The Editors
    will decline to publish any article that does not comply with this format. Kindly note that the latest edition of OSCOLA and NALT styles can be downloaded online.
  4. Each contribution should not be more than 10,000 words including footnotes, typed written Times Roman style with 12-point font for the body of the article and 10-point font on the footnotes. There should be not less than three Keywords.
  5. All contributions will be peer reviewed and should be submitted through e-mail:

  6. All manuscripts shall be accompanied with an abstract of 200 words indicating the words which must reflect those set out above, and should reach the Editors not later than 30th September, 2023 from the date of this publication.
  7. All successful authors may be asked to pay minimal cost of publication including postage fees for delivered copies of published papers.
